Global poverty dynamics and resilience building for sustainable poverty reduction

There is less than a decade left to accomplish the goal of ending global poverty by 2030. This paper investigates dynamics and finds shift in world’s gravity center from South Asia Africa period 1990–2015. Sub-Saharan has become main battlefield for reduction world. Global been accompanied political instability local conflicts, economic marginalization, rural decline, natural hazards as well climate change which are jointly impacting least developed areas making vulnerable external shocks. The “STAR” scheme, including maintaining stability, promoting targeted alleviation, implementing regular assessments initiatives, revitalizing poverty-stricken areas, proposed with specific measures enhance resilience capacity alleviation
